Hi! My name is Muhammad Awais Jaffer, I usually go by Awais, I am a Pakistani Muslim currently at George Ranch Highschool as a sophmore. I am excited to be apart of Bold.org's family/community of scholars. Since being immersed in the elaborate world of S.T.E.M, a personal goal of mine has been to develop my abilities as an engineer. Some of these ways could be to enhance my skills on Autodesk Inventor by designing more complex figures, or developing a more analytical mindset to solve problems. Currently, I am a part of an organization called “TSA” (Technology Student Association), and their main goal is to engage children through S.T.E.M based competitions. I joined TSA in 8th grade when my advisor introduced it to me and since then it has allowed me to strengthen myself both academically, by improving my technical writing skills as well as mentally by making me confident enough to present speech in front of hundreds of people. I always push myself to the best of my abilities so that I can grow as person. Though my academic prowess, achievements, and leadership skills I believe that with the help of scholarship providers I will be able to achieve my dream of becoming an engineer as well as leave an exceptional impact in the S.T.E.M community.
