Bio

I am a wife, mother, baker, small business owner, volunteer firefighter, volunteer emergency medical responder, football mom, soccer mom, band mom, gymnastics mom, basketball mom, scout mom, traveler, financial planner, friend, and all around good human. I have a strong belief in the power of positive thinking, which is why I'm known for always seeing the light in the darkest situations. I love spending time with my family, whether we are attending youth sports, taking a day trip to be tourists in the state we live in, camping, hiking, or taking fun and educational road trips to different states. Even with limited finances, I try my best to make sure my children have positive, memorable experiences. I have a passion for helping others, which is why my time volunteering with the fire department has been so enjoyable. While there are situations that are sad and painful, knowing I could be the reason a person lives makes it all worthwhile. I did not finish school initially due to starting a family and becoming a single mother at a young age. Determined to not have to depend on family members or programs to care for my child, I began to focus on starting my career instead. Now, I want to show all of my children that it's never too late to finish what you started if you truly believe in yourself and are willing to put in the work. Finishing school and receiving my degree is extremely important to me and I am looking forward to the journey ahead.
