I’m a first-generation Mexican-American student starting at Chaffey College in Fall 2025, majoring in Biology. As a future scientist, I’m passionate about working in nature, learning how life works, and finding ways to give back to my community. I’m driven by curiosity, independence, and a desire to represent Latina women in STEM. Music has always been a huge part of my journey. Artists like Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and Selena Gomez have helped me grow confident in my identity and feel empowered as a woman. Through genres like pop, R&B, and rock, I’ve connected with others, found confidence in my sexuality, and built lasting friendships. Music helped me feel seen and now I want to help others feel the same through science, education, and compassion. I’m seeking scholarships to help reduce financial pressure and focus fully on my education. I don’t have a GPA yet, but I’m motivated, ready, and excited to begin this journey.
