I became interested in majoring in special education after joining my school's CG Buddies club, a club to work with those with special needs and promote inclusion. This opened a new world to me as I began to be more and more involved, and began to work with people with disabilities outside of school. After witnessing the power of inclusion, my goal in life is to become a special education teacher, and help students grow to live a happy life. I also am learning ASL to better communicate with individuals who are deaf and nonverbal, and am hoping to teach ASL in the future.
