Hello, my name is Marlee-Kate McWeeney, and I am looking forward to pursuing a career in the film making and animation industry. I have been very passionate about volunteering and offering help to anyone in need. I volunteered at my local Chamber of Commerce from 2017-2020. I assisted in the organization of large scale community events. Preparing and organizing details for annual galas and back to school events with large community presence. I helped during holiday events with annual holiday luncheons and parade floats. I have volunteered along side of the chamber and city officials for the largest annual community event, Country in the Park, more than 45,000 in attendance. This event I manned a booth for the chamber offering trinkets from the city and chamber, interacting with the people of the community and surrounding areas. I have always been an A/B student, and I have found my career pathway I want to follow. I have been in NAHS, National Art Honors Society, and have been doing it for quite some time now. My dream career is to be a Disney Imagineer and be an animator. I have been working for this for my highschool years so far and I am so excited to pursue this dream of mine.
