Bio

I’m a first-generation American and HBCU student majoring in Pre-Veterinary Medicine with minors in Biology and Chemistry at Delaware State University. I’m working toward three life goals: opening a veterinary clinic and lifelong care sanctuary, graduating debt-free, and mentoring underserved youth, especially young women of color, in STEM, agriculture, and animal science. Growing up on a poultry farm and witnessing animal abuse in my community sparked my passion for animal care and advocacy. My love for animals turned into a mission: to provide quality care for neglected animals while educating and empowering the next generation of leaders. I’m active in the Pre-Vet Club, MANRRS, FFA, and the Student Agriculture and Natural Resources Group. I also volunteer at Discover Church, where I help lead youth groups and events. These roles have sharpened my leadership and fueled my commitment to service. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I plan to pursue a master’s in education to become a teacher who introduces students, especially from underrepresented backgrounds, to agricultural sciences early in life. I want to create learning spaces that offer mentorship, exposure, and scholarships to help them succeed. My mission is to be the kind of leader I once needed. I'm not just building a future for myself, I'm creating space for others to rise.
