I became interested in the field when I started to learn cooking from my grandparents. Ever since I could hold a spatula, I would always be cooking and baking with them and it allowed me to discover how much I love the culinary field. It allowed me to express myself, give back to the people I love the most and allowed me to grow in my imagination and creativity. Growing up with my grandparents meant helping them with anything and everything I could and cooking always was the activity I enjoyed the most. It made them happy and it made me happy, and those feelings are the feelings I cherish from others. Cooking was always perceived to me as a way to celebrate, to bring people together, to share memories, and to express appreciation. These things are some of the most important to me, and the culinary field had all these characteristics. This gave me the drive to pursue such a field, because of all the benefits that come from it for yourself and others.
The culinary field is known for its rigor and competitiveness, which motivates me to achieve many goals throughout my career. I want to complete my culinary training at the Clovis Institute of Technology and earn my culinary degree. Once I have completed my schooling, I want to work in a hospital to serve patients because I believe cooking brings happiness and comfort. I used to be a long term hospital patient, and I know how it feels to be at somewhere that isn't home for a long time. This led me to want to serve and treat patients with food in hopes that will help them in their stay. Once I finish my term at the hospital, I plan on creating my own business. Either as a private chef, or a public business. It is my dream to own a business of my own and to be able to serve people in the community I come from, Fowler. Fowler, a small town, has been super supportive of me and my journey and I'd love to open a small business here to give back to my community and brighten the community with something new. Giving back to my community is most important, and being able to have a possibility of opening a business here to provide the people with good food and service is a dream! Thank you for giving me this opportunity and I hope you will consider me.

I also used to be a long term hospital patient, and I know how it feels to be somewhere that isn't home for a long time. This led me to want to serve and treat patients with food in hopes that will help them in their stay, and create comfort no matter what things alienate them. Fowler, a small town, has been super supportive of me and my journey and I'd love to open a small business here to give back to my community and brighten the community with something new. I also wanted to support the community with my own business by donating to scholarships to the high school, giving pastries during community fundraisers, and maybe have a fundraiser of my own to bring new possibilities.
I became interested in the field when I started to learn cooking from my grandparents. Ever since I could hold a spatula, I would always be cooking and baking with them and it allowed me to discover how much I love the culinary field. I was babysat by them all the time, and cooking and watching cooking shows was a common part of my own childhood. It allowed me to grow a fascination watching people throw ingredients into pans that can create tingles on your taste buds with a bite. I learned to express myself and give back to the people I love the most. My passion continued to grow and grow as I journeyed through high school where creativity was key. The creativity and the freedom cooking/baking can have where you can change the most basic recipes into something that illustrates your own character. That to me is the most important thing about having such a job: the ability to showcase your character and passions through either a loaf of bread or maybe even a piece of french toast.
