Hello! I am a first-generation Polish-American studying as a freshman BS Mechanical Engineering student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE). In my first semester at MSOE, I achieved a 4.0 GPA and furthered my love for math in differential equations. This semester I look forward to coding in MATLAB and learning Calculus III. My interests in employment are in the automotive and manufacturing fields. In my free time, I enjoy building computers, fishing, and exploring Milwaukee.
At the age of 2, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I have been living with my diabetes for almost 17 years. My diabetes has impacted me with my interests, like getting involved with collegiate rowing; however, I strive to overcome these struggles by adapting to my hobbies. My intrinsic motivation to do things that I truly love, like rowing, is what helps me succeed in college.
I have many years of leadership experience. For two years, I was a resident student leader at my boarding STEM high school, where I curated programming and various events for up to 100 students. In 2023, I was a STEM summer camp counselor for middle school-aged children.
This past summer, I worked at a small yacht maintenance company with only three other people. I learned how to wash boats, wax and buff them, and even fix woodwork. I loved this opportunity because it gave me a behind-the-scenes look at the maintenance side of the boating world which aligns perfectly with my love for mechanical engineering.
