I plan to make a good living not only to have a good life but also to have my parents and my family have a good home where they don't struggle as much. I hope to help everyone feel the grace of God and let them surrender their worries and burdens to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because ever since I surrendered my will to him I have had no worry and I hope everyone can feel that too.

I've had many opportunities that would let me help out my community. Like when I went to Valley View Elementary School for science night. I helped the teacher set up her activities and helped the kids understand how to do certain activities. I would try to have kids who want to be more in touch with their science learning. I feel like these certain small things would help the next generation of kids who want to have fun and learn at the same time. Contributing to society is an important part of my life as I used to find it a chore for AVID class. I then soon realized it can be fun at times with friends and help out. Not only has this made the community a better place, but it has improved me as well. Knowing that everyone can make a difference is a powerful feeling. Many would believe that community service is something that is seen as mandatory and not fun at all. I would say that this is quite the opposite. It is so great and engaging to help out the younger generations. It feels nice knowing that I can make a difference or just make someone happier in their day.
A college degree will help me get ahead in life and, in a way, make me feel accomplished in life. It will allow me to provide a future for my family and continue to help influence others in my family. This would give my family a sense of accomplishment as a way to improve my family's legacy. This is because much of my family had never finished school and had gone to college. I try to make use of what I'm capable of and expand on it. That's why I keep trying, kind of like a non-stop effort to improve myself. This will help me continue to hone other skills and contribute to making me a better person as I continue this journey of making the best of my situations and never giving up. I would use this money to help ease my family into a financial situation that is possible to handle. This would also let me use that money for the school that I would like to attend without worrying about the money. This money would change my worry about school and not let me be as unmotivated as the rest of my family, who didn’t have the opportunity to continue school.
