During the summer, working full time only is decent. I have time to relax with family and friends and to enjoy summer. Work and summer break is fun compared to what happened during the spring semester. I had four classes and, while they were not extremely difficult, it took a lot of my time to complete all the homework with A+ quality. Nevertheless, it was not too bad until I got employed. I needed money saved up for the university I was transferring to. I had spent months applying for jobs in Indeed that maybe produced an interview but nothing else. Suddenly, two places gave me a job offer, and I accepted both. This was my mistake. One job started earlier, and I enjoyed it, working 3 nights a week. I continued to do school at a regular pace. But then the other job started. The second job had me working to 11:00 pm each shift. The job had me working full time, which caused problems because it overlapped with my other job. My employers got frustrated as I had to keep changing schedules to accommodate both places. This was bad enough, but I still had school. Thankfully three of my classes were online, but one was in person. I was experiencing days where I Immediately went to school in the morning and came back only to get dressed for the evening shift. I hardly had time to complete assignments, and it prompted me to make the most of every hour and minute I had. I struggled, but I chose to not give up. I made a weekly schedule that used up every hour I had. For instance, on Wednesday, I woke up early and scheduled 2 hours to work on 2 subjects before leaving for school. At school, I would work on homework while waiting for class to start and while waiting for my ride. At home, I would sneak in an hour of study before going to work. If there was time after work, I would do an hour of schoolwork as well. In addition, I learned to do an assignment in one sitting even if it turned out sloppy and then spent time editing it as the due date approached. The spring semester was tough, but I survived. I learned that I could plan out how to tackle tasks and how to do so well. I got a 4.0 that semester, and both workplaces thanked me for my work. I learned that I could not only work but also do school at the same time.
