From caring for farm animals as a child to working in a multi-specialty veterinary hospital, my path to veterinary medicine has been shaped by curiosity, compassion, and a drive to grow. I’ve gained hands-on clinical experience in surgery and internal medicine, participated in research on animal nutrition and reproduction, and served as a teaching assistant in animal science. This fall, I’ll be starting veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania, where I’m excited to contribute to the field through research, collaboration, and lifelong learning. Veterinary school is very expensive and will unfortunately take many years to pay off, so any scholarships to aid in paying for this career that I desire so strongly would be grately appreciated!
