I am a music education major looking to be a middle school band director. Although I live with inflammatory arthritis, I am working every day to be the best I can be. I hope to be a good role model for other disabled students to show them that there is more to them than their health condition. I am a National Society of Leadership and Success member and was one of the first six NSLS graduates from Rose State College. I was also the first member with a disability graduating from Rose State. My disability does not define who I am as a person as I am able to achieve many of the same things as others.
