    Marvin Bozarth Memorial Scholarship
From a young age, I have been drawn to understanding how things work, especially when it comes to vehicles. What started as curiosity-watching repairs, asking questions, and learning the basics-quickly grew into a genuine passion for the automotive industry. There is something incredibly satisying about diagnosing a problem, working through the process, and seeing the result of your effort come to life in a running engine. That sense of accomplishment is what continues to drive me toward this career. Pursuing a career as an automotive technician is more than just a job to me; it is an opportunity to build a future doing something I love. The automotive field is constantly evolving, especially with advancements in electric vehicles, diagnostic technology, and computer systems. I am excited by the challenge of keeping up with these changes and continuing to learn throughout my career. I want to be part of an industry that is essential to everyday life and plays a major rold in innovation and progress. I believe I bring several important skills to the field. I am a hands on learner who thrives when working with tools, systems and real world applications. I have developed strong problem solving skills, allowing me to think critically and troubleshoot issues step by step. I am also dependable and hardworking, balancing responsibilities such as school and work while staying committed to my goals. Living with ADHD has presented challenges, but it has also taught me persistence, focus under pressure, and the ability to adapt-qualities that are valuable in a fast paced, detail oriented environment like automotive repair. In addition, I take pride in my willingness to learn and improve. I understand becoming a skilled technician requires time, disciple, and continuous effort. Whether it is mastering new diagnostic equipment or improving efficiency in repairs, I am committed growing in my craft. Ultimately, my goal is to build a stable and successful career in the automotive industry where I can support myself and continue developing my skills. Receiving this scholarship would help me stay focused on my education and training, bringing me one step closer to achieving that goal. More importantly, it would support my passion for a career that I am fully committed to pursuing, and one day, I hope to mentor others entering into the field; sharing my knowledge and encouraging the same passion that inspired me. Giving back to the next generation of technicians.
    Autel Awarding Excellence Scholarship
From a very early age, I have shown a natural curiosity for how things worked-especially anything with an engine. What began as a simple fascination grew into something deeper as I got older. Instead of just driving cars, I wanted to understand them, fix them, and eventually master them. That curiosity turned into purpose during high school, where I made the intentional decision to pursue a path in automotive technology. Graduating from CCHS in May 2026 and earning my high school ASE certification were defining milestones that confirmed I was on the right path. My journey, however, has not been without challenges. Living with ADHD has required me to work harder than most to stay focused, organized, and consisten. Traditional classroom settings have not always come easily to me, but hands on learning environments-like automotive labs-have allowed me to thrive. I have learned how to adapt, developing discipline and real-world coping strategies that continue to shape my growth. At the same time, I have balanced working part time since February 2025. Managing school, work, and personal responsiblities has demanded resilience and maturity well beyond my 18 years. Despite these obstacles, I have remained commited to my goals. Currently enrolled at Nashville Auto Diesel College, I am actively building the technical skills and industry knowledge needed to become a professional automotive technician. My long term goal is to establish myself as a highly skilled, ASE certified technician, with aspirations of eventually specializing in advanced diagnostics and someday opening my own repair shop. I am not just pursuing a job. I am building a career grounded in hard work, integrity, and continuous learning. Receiving the Autel Awarding Excellence Scholarship would be a pivotal step in helping me achieve these goals. Financially, it would ease the burden of tuition and allow me to focus more fully on my education rather than the constant pressure of balancing work hours to make ends meet. More importantly, it would provide me access to advanced diagnostic tools and training opportunites that are essential in today's rapidly evolving automotive industry. With vehicles becoming increasingly complex, having hands on experience with cutting edge technology like Autel systems would give me a significant advantage as I enter into the workforce. Beyond the financial support, this scholarship would serve as recognition of my determination and potential. For a person that has had to overcome learning challenges and juggle adult level responsibilites early in life, that recognition would be incredibly meaningful. It would reinforce my belief that my hard work is paying off and motivate me to continue to push forward. My journey into automotive repair has been shaped by passion, perseverance, and a wilingness to overcome adversity. I am not defined by obstacles I face, but by how I rise above them. With the support of the Autel Awarding Excellence Scholarship, I would be even better equipped to complete my training and step confidently into a career where I can succeed, grow, and make a lasting impace in the automotive industry.
Rob Novak Memorial Automotive Technology Scholarship
I have chosen to pursue automotive technology because I enjoy working with my hands and solving real, tangible problems. There is something rewarding about taking apart an engine, diagnosing an issue, and putting it back together better than before. My interest started with rebuilding a 1970 GMC truck with my dad and grandfather, where I learned patience, attention to detail, and the value of doing things the right way. Each project taught me more than just mechanics-it showed me the importance of persistence and pride in my work. What I enjoy most about automotive technology is that it combines skill, knowledge, and constant learning. Every vehicle and every problem is different, which keeps the work challenging and interesting. It is a career where effort directly impacts results, and that is something I value. Receiving the Rob Novak Memorial Automotive Technology Scholarship would help me focus more on my education and training by easing the financial burden of school. It would allow me to invest in the tools, certifications, and experience needed to succeed in this field. More importantly, it would support my goal of building a stable, hands-on career doing something I genuinely enjoy. With this support, I can fully dedicate myself to mastering my craft.

From a young age, I have always been drawn to cars-not just the thrill of driving them, but the mechanics behind how they work, what makes them perform the way that they do, and how every system comes together to create something powerful and reliable. That curiosity has grown into a clear career goal: to become a skilled automotive technician who can diagnose, repair, and innovate in a rapidly changing industry. The automotive field is no longer just about fixing engines. It is about understanding advanced technology, improving efficiency, and helping people stay safe on the road. That blend of hands-on work and constant learning is exactly what inspires me. As vehicles continue shifting toward hybrid and electric technology, the industry needs technicians who are adaptable and prepared for change. My hope is to become one of those technicians-someone who is trained not only in traditional automotive systems but also in the technology shaping the future. I want to be the kind of professional customers trust, knowing their vehicle is in the hands of someone who values both precision and integrity. My career hopes also include making a positive impact on my community. Reliable transportation affects nearly every part of life-job access, education, safety, and independence. When a person’s car breaks down, it can quickly derail their responsibilities. By becoming a dependable and knowledgeable technician, I will be able to help keep people moving forward, especially those who may not have the resources or time to deal with major setbacks. I want to use my skills to support others, whether that means working in a local shop, volunteering repairs for community members in need, or eventually mentoring future students in the trades. Pursuing an automotive education will give me the foundation I need to reach these goals. Through hands-on training, technical instruction, and industry experience, I will be able to develop confidence and skill set necessary to succeed in a field that demands accuracy, dedication, and continuous learning. This scholarship would help reduce financial barriers and allow me to focus fully on my training and future career. The automotive industry is more than a career choice for me-it is a passion and pathway to building a meaningful future. With the right education and determination, I am confident that I can become a technician who not only excels in the trades but also makes a real difference in the lives of others.

    Dream BIG, Rise HIGHER Scholarship
Education has been one of the most powerful influences in shaping who I am and who I hope to become. For me, school has never been just a requirement or a daily routine-it has been a guiding force that helped me discover my strengths, confront my challenges, and build a sense of direction for my future. My journey has not been a simple or straightforward one. Living and learning with ADHD has meant that focus, organization, and consistency never came easily. But those challenges also taught me determination, creativity, and resilience. Through my education, I learned not only academic skills but also how to push through difficulties and use my unique way of thinking to my advantage. Those experiences have shaped my goals and inspired me to pursue a career where I can build a better future for myself and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Growing up with ADHD has been one of my biggest challenges. Even when I cared deeply about doing well, my mind often worked against me-racing when I needed it calm or wandering when I needed it focused. I would lose track of instructions, forget assignments, or struggle to stay seated when everyone else seemed effortlessly in control. For a long time, I felt frustrated with myself because I assumed my challenges meant I wasnt capable. But as I progressed through school, I began to understand that ADHD didnt mean I lacked intelligence or potential; it simply meant my brain worked differently. My educators played a major role in helping me come to that realization. Many of them worked with my patiently, giving me extra clarity, helping me break tasks down, or simply reminding me that I was capable even on the days when it felt like I wasn't. This shift in perspective changed everything. Instead of seeing ADHD as something that held me back, I began to see it as something that taught me important skills-skills like persistence, adaptability, and problem solving. Being forced to develop strategies to stay organized, complete tasks, and manage my focus made me stronger and more responsible. I had to put in extra effort to stay on track, but that effort built character. Instead of quitting or letting myself fall behind, I learned how to push forward even when it was uncomfortable. That discipline is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. My education also helped me discover my passions. Two things have always stood out for me: soccer and cars. Soccer taught me teamwork, leadership, competitiveness, and how to work hard for long term goals. Cars, however, gave me a sense of direction for my future career. Learning how engines work, understanding mechanical systems, and exploring automotive technology opened my mind to the possibility of turning my interest into a profession. Education didnt just teach me facts-it helped me connect my natural strengths with a career that excites me. Now, as a high school senior preparing for the next stage of my life, I am planning to attend Nashville Auto Diesel College to become an automotive technician. This feels like the perfect continuation of everything my education has prepared me for. Automotive technology is hands on, mentally engaging, and constantly evolving. It aligns with the way my mind works-fast-paced, problem-solving oriented, and focused on practical solutions. It also gives me a sense of purpose because skilled technicians play a major role in keeping communities moving safely and reliably. I want to be part of that. My long term goal is to become ASE certified and eventually open my own shop. That dream comes from more than just wanting a successful career. It comes from wanting to build something meaningful, create opportunities for others, and use what I've learned to give back. I know firsthand how powerful support and guidance can be. If I can one day run a shop where young technicians feel supported and respected-especially those who struggle with learning differences like ADHD-I will feel like I've honored the people who helped me on my own path. I want others to know that challenges don't define them; determination does. Education has also taught me responsibility beyond academics. It has shown me how important it is to be part of a community. Whether on the field with teammates, in the classroom with peers, or working a job while balancing school, I've learned how my actions affect the peple around me. In my future shop, I want to create an environment built on fairness, integrity, and solid work ethic. I want customers to trust that their vehicles-and their safety-are in good hands. I want young mechanics to feel inspired to keep learning and growing, just as I had to. Most importantly, education has shown me that the challenges I face do not limit my potential. Instead, they shape the person I am becoming. ADHD taught me to think differently and to adapt, and education gave me the tools to channel those traits into success instead of self-dount. Every class, every project, every coach, and every teacher helped me take small steps toward a clearer future. Without those experiences, I might never have discovered the confidence and direction I have now. Looking forward, I want to use my education not just to create a better life for myself, but also to lift others up. Whether I'm repairing cars, leading a team, or running my own business, I want people to feel encouraged, capable and supported. I hope my journey shows that even when learning is difficult, it is still powerful, and that overcoming challenges can prepare you for a future brighter than you imagined.
