Because I am grateful for the opportunity my local community provides me to improve my skills in math and science, I would like to pay the kindnesses shown to me forward by educating local students at a future non-profit of my own creation. The ability to participate in the world as a mathematically-enabled and empathetic problem-solver is a privilege I would like to share with others to empower them to create the positive change the world needs so that we can all thrive. All people deserve accessible educational resources, a healthy environment with life-sustaining necessities, and the ability to pursue their individual passions. In order to facilitate bettering the lives of others in these ways, I would like to tutor and teach members of my community what I learn, as well as provide a community workshop for others to build in.
