      Nikhil Desai "Perspective" Scholarship
Growing up and being taught to respect other people's perspective has been such an easy situation I can put myself in as it was a skill I am most proud of as I loved to be very attentive to what other's interpretation because I prominently remember it can help widen the overall image of my own personal understandings. My perspective on life has genuinely always been to stay neutralized as I'd want to hear everyone's input on the circumstance being addressed. Knowing my core ideals is based on my interpretation of others experiences along with my own to understand what it is I would want out of life. When I started to grow in that area of self recognition based on simple questions to understand myself at the core root of my personality was the circumstance from which I built my lifestyles around those idealistic viewpoints for myself. It is only then I had started to understand what life really meant for to know exactly how I wanted to benefit society. The most prominent ideology that I can think of that is simply the most rewarding is when I can help people get to where they want to be, not because I saw that they needed to be pushed in the right direction, it’s about the fact that they came to me on their own wanting advice for what it is they want to do next, based on what has been happening to them in their life as far as that point. I truly feel accomplished when others can be successful because I helped regulate their direction with what truth is really needed for them to understand what to do when moving forward, being able to accept both good and bad of what comes next. When I help them understand with those more so core mental checklists, the real growth comes within the person who trusts their own judgement, rather than depend on opinion’s of anyone else, especially because nobody understands what you not just could, but would do if the indset is really there to think for themselves. Watching people achieve these simple gestures for themselves is what I have noticeably felt is the most truthful I have ever been about the fact that I feel my real purpose is to be able to do exactly that. Helping those get where they need to be has been what I can only describe the way that I am looking forward to spending my life, whether that is going on to be a teacher, or guidance counselor for high school students, or even managing events to see through to the best outcome. Motivating myself does not come across as difficult when I truly started to understand myself in what I have been most passionate about. Building a career surrounding myself with individuals that I get to see on their path as they come into mine asking for an evaluation of their own to build towards their own success is what I am most certainly excited with as it gives me such immense satisfaction.
