I am a first-generation college graduate from the University of California, Irvine, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Literary Journalism with a minor in Creative Writing in 2024. As a writer and storyteller, I’m passionate about exploring how language, art, and culture connect people across the world. I plan to pursue my master’s in professional writing abroad to strengthen my skills in creative communication, journalism, and global storytelling. My goals are rooted in curiosity, cross-cultural learning, and creative expression, and I’m dedicated to using my education to empower others through words. My goal is to become a published author and professional writer who uses storytelling to educate, empower, and connect people across the world. I envision launching a business that motivates others to embrace writing and analog storytelling—reviving the art of personal documentation in our increasingly digital era.

  The Yakama Reservation immersion require a willingness to participate in manual labor and endure uncertain weather conditions. Students paint houses, landscaping/construction projects along with wild land restoration. The trip immerses students in a hands-on experience of education and cultural awareness regarding Native American citizens in contemporary American society.
