Bio

My dream would be to eventually have my own social media agency. Once I found I had for design and a passion for entrepreneurship I took off running, first doing mounts of search of what kinds of businesses there are and what would suit me best. I paired my jewelry-making skill, watercolor color, and graphic design abilities and came up with M&H Designs seeing I am still a high schooler I only to jewelry at markets because it's more demand but I sell everything else online. Website:www.mandhdesigns.me Art has always been a way for me to express myself in both good & bad times. I love to write poetry, paint, make jewelry learn something new about marketing every day, volunteer, and try new things outside of my comfort zone. My goal isn't to become rich or succeed by any means my long-term goal is to create generational wealth within my family. When you leave this earth you can't take it with you anyways so why not pass it on and think about the young ones that will be after us. I started my own E-commerce company when I was 14 years old and haven't stopped driving deeper and deeper not just with the fundamentals of business but the operations and the background work done to have a successful one. I would make a great candidate because I have a passion and also will have the dedication and the willingness to learn more on these topics and with your help, I can take my curiosity to the take next level with higher education. Sloane Stephens Doc & Glo Scholarship
The human characteristic I value within myself the most would have to be my kindred heart. There are not as many kind-hearted people now as there were in my grandparent's days. Humility and being humbled also play a role in this characteristic because it's looking beyond your needs and being humble with what you do have in order to help someone else. Therefore being a blessing to someone else may really have needed the help at that moment. I am not saying tho that this should come at the express of your mental health and/or self-care. I value this characteristic because it sets me apart from others and I believe it makes me a better person. I feel like the reward goes to the humble and the meek I also follow or believe in the philosophy that says what you put out in the world is what you receive so if you put out good and kindness and help others when they need help when you're in a time of need and you are struggling someone will be there to help you. People gravitate towards others/intend to want to be friends with people that are humble and do not boastful so along my life journey this could bring me more friends closer relationships with others and build connections with my fellow peers. Also, it portrays a good self-image that your areń just a caring person, but that you also have empathy, and compassion so well. Since I'm looking into being in the business industry this characteristic is a great one to have because it makes it not only easier to work with and fill businesslike connections with others but it also helped you expand your circle and make networking easier. On the other hand, this character trait if not authentic can be taken In a very negative way so if you're not a natural kind hard-headed person do not force it because others can see when it's not authentic and truthful to who you are. Leads others to not want to be around you and perceive your image as fake and not authentic and that's not a good self-image to portray when you're trying to achieve your goals. So make sure it's for the heart and that you're helping others because you want to and that it's sincere and genuine. Not everyone is born with this characteristic so don't feel a way if you aren't or if it doesn't come naturally this is something that can always be learned and practiced. This can help you in life in the work industry and it's a very very valuable skill/characteristic to have.
    Bold Financial Literacy Scholarship
One personal lesson I took about finance from a very young age was don't start late! Misconceptions people have about finance especially teens and college students is that you should start building your credit and your portfolio of your income and stocks and things of that nature. So that when you're 18 or older you will already have a foundation or something to work with you not start from ground zero. Most people or teens I should say wait to get their credit card on till they are 19 or even in their twenties what does is it sets you up for failure because it makes it harder for you to get a bank loan when you're trying to get your first house because you don't have good enough credit or any credit in some cases to get that loan to put your first down payment on your house. That being said I think it's best not to wait and if you have parents if there are willing or have the time to sit down with you guys can't talk about your finance. Also, do your own research about these different topics and stuff there are ways to go about starting before 18 with your parent's help that way when you do get 18 and you do start looking for jobs and housing and anything that requires you to have a really great credit score, especially with buying a new car or a car, in general, you will be ahead of the game.
    Elevate Mental Health Awareness Scholarship
My culture and general upbringing have always been that crying or having a mental illness was a form of weakness. So when I found out I had anxiety I was in decline not because I didn't believe the doctor or my family and friends around me but because I refused to be weak. The more and more I refused the more sad and overwell I became to the point where I became to push others away or keep them at a distance so that I "didn't hurt them" or "they did have to worry about me anymore" reasons I gave myself to self isolate. I slowly began to love myself and start my self-care journey when I saw I would go down the same path as my older brother who passed away because of suicide. I love him very much! I knew how it was for me personally to come to terms with my role model being gone. Thoughts of not being there enough, I should have called him more today this very day go through my head. I know I couldn't do that to my family or my other siblings. I know if he was still with us he would want to see me better to accomplish my dreams he wouldn't want me to give up. Now I am doing much better I am very grateful to have a very tight support table that loves me very much and our there to listen anytime I need them as I am for them. I have recently joined the mental Health Awareness Culb at my high school and plan to take classes to learn more about Mental health in college as well. I have inquiries about why having a mental illness is more accepting of some races than others. Was mental illness around in the older days and were they just not discovered yet, dimensioned. Mental health influenced my beliefs because I no longer believe that having a mental illness is not a weakness it actually shows bravery and courage to talk about it with others and get help. I have lost and gained relationships from my experience but the biggest influences I am grateful for are my friends in the mental health awareness club who are not judgemental and aspect I have a wholistic being I am and don't try to fix things but instead our their to listen to me and hear my day was. Mental health has made me next to a unique approach to how I want to pursue my career rather than material things like money, cars, etc. I wanted to put my mental health first while doing something I love and not pressuring it because I will have a comfortable life. Therefore any major or minor I choose to take I will ask myself will I be happy doing this? before making my final decision. For example, with social anxiety, public speaking jobs, and cubicle corporate jobs aren't for me so I won't go to law school because confrontational jobs don't aline with my well-being tho they are high paying and have high credibility.
