In my opinion, there needs to be multiple changes in order to make education better for future generations. One change I believe that the education system can do for the next generation is hiring more teachers that would engage with students during class or after class to build students' creativity. This is why I believe there needs to be more arts, gym, and music classes in many schools. In my high school, I was only allowed to take one art class which was a photography class and I loved it. Students being exposed to art and music at an early age can enhance their creativity. I believe it is an important aspect for everyone to explore. I also believe the education system should start making learning more fun rather than boring. Sometimes when a class is boring it can lead to students not paying attention which can lead to them failing the course. If the teacher is able to pay close attention to every student in their class then the teacher can help provide assistance to those who are on the verge of failing the course. Furthermore, the education system should have plenty of resources that can help students living in extreme poverty in every way possible. Many students in poverty have difficulty concentrating because of how hungry they are or them thinking about where would they sleep tonight. This can affect their learning, productivity, and cognitive skills which are needed to do well in school. Education systems being able to provide low-income students with enough resources can help them in a positive way. It will also help students to feel welcome and the students are more likely to participate in school. Another change would be schools creating more educational programs that can help improve students' learning and productivity. Programs can help students create new friends, learn new skills, and block their minds from school for a while which can lead them to become less stressed. It also will teach them it is okay to have fun while studying and being at school. Not only that but programs can let students understand that they have a supportive community that will help them with whatever problems they have. It creates an open, safe place for those who need it. The changes that will occur in education will greatly, and positively, impact future generations.

There are many historical figures that have inspired me in many ways. However, one historical figure that I truly admire is Martin Luther King Jr. He promoted world peace using nonviolent acts which led to significant changes in civil rights that affected the world in a positive way. Soon after King’s speeches and peaceful protests segregation became abolished. He was one of the historical figures who will forever be remembered as a peaceful political leader. His main goal was to fight injustice and to gain racial equality using nonviolent protests. This is why I truly admire him. He was able to save slaves who were in captivity by performing speeches and conducting nonviolent marches. This shows that one does not need to be violent or aggressive to make impactful changes throughout the world. Being hurtful and harming one another is not worth it. It is best to always treat people the way you would like to be treated. Being peaceful has proven to be powerful. Treating enemies with hatred and being vengeful is not the correct way to create changes. One must treat enemies with love, just like his speech once said “in order to love your enemies, you must begin by analyzing self”. Furthermore, nonviolence promotes discipline, strength, courage, and power. King has proven that using peaceful ways to solve problems is the best method to deal with major issues such as violence. Violence never achieves anything and can lead to more violence. He has inspired me to achieve world peace by performing peaceful acts such as peacefully protesting, spreading his words in the communities about standing up for one’s rights, or making inspirational speeches. King was an iconic activist who I will always remember as an inspiration that promoted love, peace, and a leader that fought for equality.

Some of my goals for the future that are school-related are to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Computer Science, and be able to complete a minor in Cybersecurity. Another goal would be to save enough money to buy my mom a car and my sister, who is also a college student, books for her studies. Not only that but I would also like to save money to be able to finish my college career at Kean University. My other goal is to achieve straight As for the remaining of my career even if it is difficult I would challenge myself. Some of my goals that are non-college-related are to get myself a car, a house, and to travel around the world to experience different cultures and different foods. In order to achieve these goals and for success I would like to surround myself with positivity and people who aim for success in order for me to not get off course with my goals. I would also like to surround myself with my family and friends who always give me advice and never give up. They are who I call my role models.
