I am a 22-year-old aspiring social worker originally from Cleveland, Ohio. Currently, I am pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at Cleveland State University. This educational path will equip me with vital skills in areas such as counseling, crisis intervention, trauma-informed practices, and empowering approaches to providing mental health support services. Through fieldwork opportunities, I will get to apply these person-centered techniques while serving diverse populations in real-world settings. This practical experience is invaluable for developing the competencies I will use in my future career as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). After completing my undergraduate degree, I plan to become licensed and specialize in providing counseling and emotional care to individuals and communities impacted by traumatic experiences. I am passionate about cultivating healing environments where clients feel safe, heard, validated, and empowered to reclaim their resilience.
