Hello!
I am a first generation soon to be graduate, I’m more than excited to start my career in Marketing and starting my own business.
My mom was deported when I was ten years old, and ever since I’ve tried nothing but to better myself in any way possible. Being financially independent has been difficult even with a job, but thanks to that I am proud to say I’m a hard working young adult that just had to grow up too fast.
My goal is to make my parents proud in whatever I do, I take care of my sister for some months throughout the year and being able to be there for her financially is very important to me.
I’m a very hardworking and determined person who wants to make a difference in the world. COVID left me without a job for about 6 months and with nobody to help me with bills, life became very difficult but it’s always important to remember that there’s no sunshine without some rain.

My mom was deported when I was only 10 years old, if theres one thing she always wanted for me was to pursue and finish college. She has been my motivation since day 1 and being able to get my degree would and will make her so proud. My mom had to drop out of the 3rd grade to take care of her siblings, so being the first in my family to graduate means a lot to me. I am the oldest of 3, I want to be a role model for my younger siblings because it’s important to see that despite life being difficult, you can still achieve what you desire. I also took care of my sister for a few months so she could come back to the US and learn some English and I knew that her seeing me doing my best would only make her want to do better as well. I knew how passionate I was when I kept taking out student loans to ensure my education came first, putting my future in a financial hole was not an easy decision to make. Especially during COVID when I had to stop working and had to adjust to online classes, it was not easy mentally or financially. From a young age I moved from one family members house to another, everyone in my family has helped and pushed me to get to where I am today and that more than anything makes my passion grow that much bigger. Besides making my family proud, I want to be able to say that I graduated with good grades and my head on straight. Working full time and taking 4 classes throughout some quarters was not easy at all, a lot of that passion came from being able to show myself that I can do whatever I put my mind on. I was more passionate about getting good grades than my social life in college, I knew that if I took in all the information that was given to me it would be a huge advantage to me in the future. I want to be someone who makes a change in the world, makes people happy, encourages others to want to do better, and find a way to help clean up the Earth. My passion comes from being able to one day make a difference in the world we live in today.
