Bio

My name is Melissa, and I am pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering while preparing for a career in medicine. This dual path allows me to cultivate the analytical skills of an engineer alongside the empathy and dedication required of a future physician. I believe that the future of healthcare lies in the integration of new technologies into everyday clinical settings, and my background prepares me to lead that transition. Through my studies and extracurricular experiences, I have focused on how engineering principles can be applied to improve patient outcomes and accessibility.
