I am a spontaneous, creative, artistically inclined person who is caring and compassionate and of diverse interests.
I am an intermediate violin player and enjoy playing the Ukulele in my free time and family events, while composing small poetry and simple lyrics for leisure. Additionally in my spare time I also enjoy reading, arts and craft, sketching, ethnic dance and gardening.
I have been actively serving the community since the age of 5 through diverse means, including the arts to humanitarian help and missionary community outreach. Most recently helping rebuild and clean up few years after hurricane Maria in the community of Guayama, Puerto Rico and assisting in a local 2 week long summer camp program for children at- risk.
My life goal is to become a Speech Therapist and Occupational Therapist within the next three to four years. During this journey as a student I have taken time to carefully define my passions in the health field and time to know my strengths.
I'm looking forward to making my dreams a reality at Loma Linda University California where I believe I will learn from some of the very best. I am very excited to continue my student life in a new place; but I will miss my family and home in Arizona.
I am a strong believer who knows God has always been with me and he will always watch over me no matter where I go. I trust that in the process I will be able to make my family proud and look forward to set an example to my younger siblings in being the first to graduate from a college university, grow within and continue to serve the community.
