Bio

As a first-generation Hispanic student, I am proud to be the first and only person in my household to graduate from high school and attend college. I am currently a rising sophomore at The Pennsylvania State University, where I am pursuing a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree. My goal is to become a licensed architect and create functional, intentional spaces that positively impact the lives of others. I believe thoughtful design has the power to strengthen communities and improve the way people experience the world. Outside of academics, I am passionate about traveling and learning from different cultures. I believe education extends beyond the classroom, and that experiencing new places, trying different foods, visiting landmarks, and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds helps shape a more well-rounded perspective. These experiences inspire both my personal growth and my approach to design. Giving back is also important to me. Throughout high school and college, I have participated in food drives and donated clothing to organizations such as Plato's Closet to support those in need. I enjoy helping others and making a positive impact in my community. I am ambitious, hardworking, and resilient. As a first-generation student, I have learned to overcome challenges with determination and perseverance. Every opportunity brings me one step closer to achieving my dream of becoming an architect and making a meaningful difference through design.
