My ambition is to become a certified sonographer and then a radiologist once I finish medical school. I've always wanted to work in the medical field, caring for sick people, particularly in neglected areas. I've witnessed firsthand the difficulties that the sick face in these disadvantaged communities. My father has a genetic blood clot disorder that necessitates the use of specialist imaging and treatment. This change in my family not only reinforced my desire to work as a sonographer, but it also provided me the confidence and motivation to master the use of numerous machines to aid in the diagnosis of various ailments.
