Trade school felt like the best option for me because I want to work in a field where I don't feel like its work. I became interested in cars more and more as i got older and got intrigued by the many things they offer. I want to be an automotive technician because i take enjoyment in working with my hands and restoring things. i also want to learn how to mod cars (paint, body work customizations). After I graduate i hope to find a good job in a repair shop, gaining experience and connections for future opportunities. Id eventually hope to be in charge of my own repair and auto shops to provide a well mannered service of good repairs and provide the customizations on a customers car to their exact want and vision. I've played simulators of being a mechanic and play them for hours. All of the customizations, restoring cars from rust to brand new gives me a sense of enjoyment and a sort of peace of mind. I get so immersed in the videos on YouTube and the simulator that I cant wait to be hands on doing the same thing in person. Long term I've had thoughts about manufacturing my own car brand focused around a reliable and all around safe car that also looks beautiful. The world of cars is so versatile with cars being able to do and be used for various things like racing, drifting, off roading. My biggest hope is to establish myself as a business and build a stable future for myself and to provide for future family and my mom and sister. This scholarship will help me achieve my goals by allowing me to save up money for tools, and all around future investments. The biggest thing about achieving goals is making sure to invest in your dreams and also yourself. The scholarship will create a path for me to save money that can push me forward in my career. Me being the only person in charge of my future and life, I have to take initiative to seal my path. That means applying myself not just academically but mentally. This scholarship would help push myself to stay determined and work hard for myself and people like Elijah, who didn't get a chance to achieve their dreams. My biggest hope after trade school is to hard push myself into the mechanic industry and learn all I can from experts and o hand experience. Id carry those with me and apply that into my efforts to establish my own auto mod shops and repair shops.
