I am most of all a very dedicated person, and in everything I do I aim for excellence and try to make the most of the opportunities I am given. I have a strong work ethic in all of my schoolwork, but I am also very committed to my extracurriculars, hobbies, and family. I have always loved learning, so I enjoy my classes in school and since I understand most of them, I try to help my classmates as well. I love being able to learn about the science of the world around me as well as about literature and am fascinated by history. My school is a classical school and has a vigorous class load, so I am challenged constantly. I am very involved in my school, since I play soccer on the girls varsity team, and I am the chief editor of the school newspaper. I also played in the orchestra for many years at my school before leaving the school orchestra to play in my local community orchestra. My new orchestra is a great experience because I get to play better music, and I am constantly learning from the older musicians. I also volunteer at my local library and enjoy helping the kids find books they will love and hopefully inspire them to love learning as much as I do. My faith in God is very important to me as well as my family. I try to have balance in my life and give my all to everything I do. Whether it is my school work, the clubs I participate in, playing music, or just spending time with family and friends, I always try to be grateful and appreciate what I have.
