Bio

My primary goal is to achieve financial stability and support my family. I plan to attend a four-year university and major in mathematics. After graduation, I aim to work as a fire engineer in the fire department, a role that leverages my strengths in math and my passion for public safety. I am committed to helping others, though I am learning to balance this with prioritizing my own needs. I work well both independently and as part of a team. I am a senior at Hughson High School, involved in two sports: football for thirteen years and golf for four years, and four clubs: Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FFA, Bible Club, and Life of a Husky. What sets me apart as a candidate is my enthusiasm, humility, leadership, dedication to my faith, helpfulness, and public speaking skills. For example, during a football playoff game, I celebrated my teammates’ successes while staying focused on the game. When I received the Most Improved Golfer award as a sophomore, I accepted it humbly and continued to work hard. In my Life of a Husky class, I helped lead a drive-in movie project by guiding others and ensuring we followed our plan. I am devoted to my faith, supporting others in their spiritual growth and regularly attending church and youth group sessions at New Life Christian Center. I am always willing to assist others when needed. Additionally, I have experience speaking to large groups, such as delivering a clear and confident message to over 100 youth group members and parents.
