My name is Maya and I am a deeply passionate person. Throughout my years as a teenager, I have worked along many non-profits organization which as given me a strong purpose and opened my eyes to a variety of social and political issues. I greatest desire is to have a positive impact on a people, the planet, and the animals we share this planet with through my career and personal project. Wether that be supporting natural ecosystems, developing real world solutions using synthetic biology, working directly with high risk youth, or bringing light to global and niche issues through photo journalism and documentary filmmaking. No matter what path I take, I will dedicate myself to solving problems and helping those around me.
