I am a first-generation college graduate from California with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from UC Davis, now pursuing an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at South Dakota State University. My academic background in quantitative reasoning and problem solving supports my commitment to evidence-based nursing practice. As a low-income and first-generation student, I am driven to expand access to compassionate, high-quality care in underserved communities. I plan to become a nurse practitioner in whatever role suits me best, depending on where I can have the greatest impact.
