I have attended Southern Door High School my entire life. Ever sense grade school, my favorite classes have always been gym and woods class. I love playing sports and I love to use my creativity to build things that I can use at home, giveaway, or even sell. Next fall, I will be attending Lakeland University where I will major in business administration and continue my football career. I am very glad to get to continue playing football as it is quite literally my favorite thing. For me, there is nothing better than hitting other people on the field while hearing the roars and screams from the fans in the stands. The reason I am getting a business degree is that I plan to start my own smaller woodworking business one day where I can continue my favorite hobby of woodworking. I hope to be able to make small furniture projects like desks, tables, and chairs on my own, selling them to family, friends, and other members of the community. With this, I hope to help bring the community together and strengthen my relationships with the people around me. Something else about me is that I am very hard working and I am a good leader. My coaches, parents, and teachers have always praised me for my hard work and leadership skills. Everyday, it is my goal to help the people around me and put a smile on everyone's face, while also keeping myself happy by playing sports and pursuing my hobbies. One struggle I had in school, however, is that it became very unengaging. Everyday is the same and there is little to no change in teaching habits, behaviors, and even scenary. Something I wish my school would focus more on and that hopefully I can help with in the future is making school a more fun and more enjoyable place to be. I think changing things up and just making a different environment for students is the best way to do this. Adding to this and leadership, I strongly believe that everyone has a purpose and my purpose is to make the world around me a better place. Doing little things everyday that can help those around be happier and live a better life helps me be happy and live a better life. I hope that by pursuing my career, I can help build the community into a stronger place where the people around me will also feel the same way.
