My name is Mason Garcia, after I graduate in June 2025 I plan to go to Prime Line Academy, in Heyburn, ID to become a lineman. I am a child of divorce, my father's side I am the second oldest of 7. My mother's side, I am the fourth child of 5. In high school, my junior and now my senior year I am in a welding program( SeaTech, Walla Walla, WA), which I will earn a certificate. I took woodshop and metals shop for 3 years, a member of FFA for 2 years for trap shoot, a member of 4H for 13 years with swine and leadership, I have been a TA for 2 different elementary teachers, 1 a kindergarten class and the other a special education class. I also played football my freshman year, after a bad motorcycle accident the following spring I didn't continue. I have worked the past 3 summers doing concrete and plan to work there again this summer. This job is what made me start thinking about trade schools. I want to go to linemen school and become a linemen.
