I am committed to building a career in nursing that centers both clinical excellence and a deep understanding of the social factors that shape health. My long term goal is to become a registered nurse who not only provides high quality care, but also works to bridge gaps within the healthcare system. I am especially interested in how mental health intersects with structural inequality, and I hope to contribute to care that recognizes the full context of a patient’s lived experience. I am most passionate about the connection between healthcare, advocacy, and community. I believe that effective care requires more than technical skill. It requires listening, cultural awareness, and a willingness to engage with the realities patients face outside of clinical settings. Through my academic work, public speaking, and community involvement, I have consistently sought to better understand these complexities and to support more inclusive and compassionate approaches to care. I believe I am a strong candidate because I bring both intention and perspective to everything I do. I approach challenges with resilience, adaptability, and a strong sense of purpose. I am committed to continuous growth, and I value collaboration, empathy, and accountability in the spaces I am part of. My goal is not only to succeed in my field, but to contribute meaningfully to the people and communities I serve.
