I read books daily.

I read books daily.
I’ve always loved learning new things, but my interest in business and entrepreneurship really grew as I started paying attention to how creative ideas can make a real difference in people’s lives. Being a twin has shaped a big part of who I am—I grew up with a constant source of support, competition, and teamwork. Those experiences taught me how to communicate, collaborate, and stay motivated, all of which play a huge role in why I want to start my own business one day. At UW–La Crosse, I plan to study business and take advantage of every opportunity to learn how to build and lead something meaningful. I also hope to stay involved in my community by continuing the volunteer work that has always been important to me. One of my personal goals is to become fluent in Spanish. I’ve seen how valuable bilingual communication is in so many fields, especially business. After researching the best ways to learn a language, I realized that immersing myself in a culture is the most effective approach, so I plan to study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country during college. I want to be able to connect with more people and understand different perspectives—something that’s incredibly important in today’s global world. Looking ahead, I hope to become an entrepreneur who leads with creativity, empathy, and a willingness to keep learning. My goal is to build a career where I can make a positive impact while challenging myself to grow.
