Bio

I am the second youngest of seven children in a middle-class, biracial family. As we are middle-class, we do not qualify for nearly any financial aid, and I must rely on scholarships to avoid loans. I plan to be the first of my family to graduate college and to do so, I must try my hardest to get scholarships.

    Billie Eilish Fan Scholarship
Ocean Eyes, Birds of a Feather, and what was I made for; may be three of Billie Eilish's more famous songs however, I truly love them for deeper reasons. Beginning with none other than ocean eyes, released in Billie's 2017 album "dont smile at me" takes me to a happier time in life, when love was simple and eyes were everything. The song delves into the importance of love, and what it holds. Even as it may be a more popular song from Billie, it's intense lyrics are often overlooked by the catchy tune it carries and Billie's outstanding vocals. Following up with of of Billie's newest releases, Birds of a Feather, from her 2024 album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT. This song resonates with me very deeply, as I relate to with the desire not to be left alone, especially by those you identify with closely. The pain of being left by others that are similar to you, often makes you question your desire to remain yourself. Last, but most definitely not least, What was I made for, a single, released in the 2023 Barbie movie. Billie astounded the world with her beautiful voice, and heart-wrenching lyrics. This song in particular, has the capability to make me tear up anytime it's played in my presence. The undeniability behind the words has the power to alter any listener's feelings. I wholeheartedly believe that any Billie Eilish song could be argued for her best, considering that she is such an incredibly talented and inspirational woman.
