When I think about my purpose in life and why I was created, I wholeheartedly believe and know that it was and is to love and care for people. I have wanted to be a nurse for as long as I can remember. In my professional career in business administration for ten-plus years, even though I enjoy my job, it is not my life's work. Becoming a mom of two by the age of nineteen, I placed my children's well-being and education as my main priority and my dream of becoming a nurse on the back burner. Working in business administration allowed me to provide for my children, which I am forever grateful for. Now that my children are successful, young adults, and thriving in the world, I decided it was my time to pursue my dream of becoming a nurse. In 2024, I bet on myself and I applied and got accepted to Chamberlain University, where I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. To date, while both working and attending school full time, I feel so fulfilled because I am working towards creating and living the life I have always dreamed about. One of my lifelong goals is to continue my education and become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Taking care of God's people is something that I know I was called and destined to do. My prayer each day is for God to bless me and my life abundantly so that I can, in turn, be a blessing to as many people as possible.
