I am a second-year student at Washington and Lee University pursuing a major in English and a double minor in Africana studies and creative writing. Outside of the classroom, I am involved with the Student Association for Black Unity (SABU), Community Anti-Racism Effort (CARE), the Traveller Safe Ride Program, and club cheerleading.
I became interested in law as I grew up witnessing how incarceration impacted family members. As such, I hope to pursue a law degree to work to defend marginalized communities.
