I am currently a senior in high school and am committed to my family, education, and community. I am a part of and a leader in empowering organizations at my school. For example, I am a competitive member of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America), member of Mu Alpha Theta, and the secretary for our school's National Honor Society. I believe that building a strong work ethic and goal setting in my educational and personal life is essential for being successful. That is why I have encouraged myself to always challenge myself by taking AP (advanced placement) classes and enrolling in the IB (International Baccalaureate) Programme. I want to pursue a career in the medical field. Although I am flexible with my goals, I am determined in my long-term goals to major in public health in college, attend F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University, and become a board-certified physician.
