How do I preserve art? Art is a way I can express myself as well as create conversation. I use art to provide myself; with a way to express my inner feelings to my personal expression through shapes and colors. While growing up, I had a hard time finding what I would like to do. It took me my entire childhood, and almost through my teen years. During the visit to the career center in 10th grade, I visited the program that focuses on graphic design and communication. I felt like I belonged to the group. I push through the shell I placed over myself through years of not knowing what I had in store for myself. When I got into the career center, I grew to become more of myself as I found my true calling. Knowing your true calling can bring us towards new heights, I improved my high school grades as well as pushing through some of the most difficult times in my life. My way of using art is an activity where I can provide myself with comfort and the ability to show self expression. Using different ways to express myself gives me the ability to feel a bit of freedom within my own life, the ability to create something beautiful. This artwork I created was made for a mythology creation project. I grew to love how it looked and how much time I took on it. I created one of the biggest successes I had with digital art. I created some hair on my figure that looks amazing. Took me some many trials and errors but I saw some improvement within my digital art. This improvement gave me confidence I can recreate the hair problem all over again. It has put some new found confidence within my art. I may have not mastered the ability to use vectors to create flowing hair, but I have a breakthrough in my ability to adapt and improve my art skills while using visuals. My digital art I created is my take on the goddess circe, as it may seem easy to see, I still see improvement within my circe and myself.
