I am a first-generation college student pursuing a degree in criminal justice with plans to attend law school and become a prosecutor for the Special Victims Unit. My passion for law is rooted in a deep commitment to advocacy, justice, and protecting vulnerable populations. After the loss of my father, unexpected absence of my mother, and time spent in a group home, I faced significant instability at a young age. I initially attended Endicott College, but after my first year, I made the difficult decision to step away from school and pursue a trade. I became a licensed esthetician and have worked in the field for the past seven years while continuing my education. Through this experience, I have balanced academics with real-world experience with clients, where I have developed strong communication skills and the ability to support individuals during vulnerable moments. My experiences have shaped my resilience, empathy, and determination to create meaningful change. As I continue my education this fall at Suffolk University, I am focused on building a future where I can use the law to give a voice to those who need it most.
