Looking ahead, my goal is to become an agriculture teacher and inspire the next generation of students to pursue their passions in this vital industry. I became interested in this path because I was blessed to have amazing AG teachers who made me want to be great for future generations and help more people join FFA and find a love for agriculture. I am going to graduate from Reedley College with an Associate of Science degree while I graduate from high school where I plan to transfer to Fresno State and I will earn my bachelor’s degree in agricultural education. I am determined to bring my real-world experiences, technical skills, and leadership knowledge into the classroom, showing students the many opportunities agriculture has to offer. Kerry Kennedy Life Is Good Scholarship
Throughout my high school journey at Sanger High School, I have worked hard to build a strong foundation for my future in the agriculture industry. Maintaining a GPA of 3.6 to 4.0 while actively participating in school activities and leadership roles has been a source of pride and motivation. However, my involvement in the Sanger FFA Chapter has been one of my best experiences. It has allowed me to grow as a leader and develop hands-on skills that help me prepare for my career goals. Through various projects, such as raising rabbits, lambs, and turkeys for the Fresno Fair, I have learned the importance of responsibility, dedication, and teamwork. Serving as the Chapter Treasurer and as a delegate for the San Joaquin Region has helped me sharpen my leadership and public speaking abilities. I have participated in a variety of contests including the East Fresno Madera Opening and Closing Contest where I was a member of the 1st High Officer Team, and the East Fresno Madera Section Cooperative Marketing contest where I placed 2nd overall. These activities and contests reflect my commitment to excellence.
Outside of FFA, I have furthered my education through college-level courses as a part of the POM Wonderful Ag Mechanics Pathway where I have taken courses such as Introduction to Ag Mechanics, Welding, Fabrication, Small Engines, and Soil Science which have provided me with valuable technical knowledge for a future career in agriculture. My work experience as an animal care and child care provider, as well as my role as a youth soccer referee, has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to manage diverse responsibilities. These experiences have shaped my work ethic and prepared me to take on challenges with confidence.

With all that I have been able to achieve in high school I have aimed at making my college education more financially achievable, I will be paying for my own schooling and have applied for many scholarships and not received any, my biggest concern as a high school senior going into college is book costs, having friends and family in college they have stated how costly books are and raised worry.
