Hello my name is Marisol Corona. I decided to join bold.org to find scholarships that would benefit me to help pay for school. Not only will this help me but it will also help my parents as they aren’t considered low class but barely make the average amount. My 18 year old sister and I pay rent on top bills to help my parents out. Getting scholarships would help me in the sense that my parents wouldn’t have to worry about working overtime to support my college funds. My passion in life is to spread kindness with the profession I want to do. I believe social work is the perfect profession to practice empathy and compassion.
