Bio

Hello! my name is Mariel Docabo. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Science with a concentration in Data Science and Analytics. I have always been fascinated by numbers and how much information one can infer with them. My goal is to start a career in the analytics field and eventually create a company that would help people earn professional experience in the field. I am currently in the U.S by myself and have been pursuing my studies since 2017. My family being across the world, I don't have the privilege of being able to see them whenever I want to. So, in every conversation that I have with my family, I always tell them how much I love them. Whenever I get homesick and feel alone, I always remind myself that I do what I do because of my family. I am a very optimistic individual. I try to find the light in dark hours for my benefit. I also try to share this optimism with the people around me. I believe that having a positive outlook in my life will get me to where I deserve to be! I am very excited to finish my career and be able to help my family. I also want to help students who share similar experiences with me.
