Mariah Avery’s passion for behavior analysis began when her son was prescribed ABA therapy, and she could not find any available services within a three-state radius of their home. Determined to close that gap, she pursued formal training and completed her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2017. Since then, she has worked across home care, clinic, and school settings in both Florida and Georgia, supporting children with diverse developmental and behavioral needs. She is the owner of Bridge Behavior Consulting, a small private practice based in rural southwest Georgia. Through her work, she focuses on increasing access to care for children in rural communities, while also supporting caregivers through training and advocacy within local systems. Mariah has been accepted as a doctoral candidate in the PhD program in Behavior Analysis at Endicott College, where she will study in the lab of Nic Weatherly. Her continued education reflects her commitment to expanding access to high quality, culturally responsive care and to creating sustainable solutions for families who have historically been overlooked.
