WinnerBio
I'm a hardworking, driven young woman that loves working with my hands. Since I was a little girl I have worked on cars and trucks with my father. I love fixing things and rebuilding things from the ground up. My absolute passion is working in trade. I come from a low income household but I've always used the skills I've learned to help provide for my family at a young age. I strive to be a first generation graduate.

WinnerI’m pursuing welding as a career. I’m very passionate about fixing things and building from the ground up. I’ve learned how to make something out of nothing with my hands alone. My future plans after completing my trade is to become a underwater welder and provide for my family the best way I can and the only way I know how to do that is to perfect the trade I’m most passionate about. I have always had to overcome adversity. My family wasn’t fortunate enough to make good money growing up. My father joined the military to make ends meet and my mom let her dreams of college go to take care of me and my siblings. We’ve dealt with poverty, homelessness and lack of resources our entire life and it is my burning passion to make them proud and make myself proud. Be the woman I’ve dreamt of being when I was young. We’ve overcome all obstacles and I’ve fixed things that were broken. Put things back together like magic and it fills me with such excitement knowing that I can do that as a career. I’m mostly self taught and there’s not a project that I won’t strive to fix. With proper knowledge and training I know that I can accomplish my own goals and ambitions. When my father was home he showed me how to fix things that are broken, wether it be under the hood of a car, under the kitchen sink, in the back yard or with scrap metal in a junk yard. I’ve rebuilt cars, made water flow out of pipes that my family was convinced were broken, taken wood planks and made them into masterpieces and took scrap metal and made them whole again. I strive for great in everything I do and my parents dreams and images flow through me and drive me into a better future for myself. I was less fortunate growing up but that just makes me want a better future even more. I’ve always done my best at everything I do and I’ve always put my heart into everything I fix. If the chance is given I will make ends meet and what’s broken, fixed again. It’s not only a passion it’s a gift and a natural calling. Id appreciate anything that’s gifted to me in order to make my dream a reality. Many thanks from me and my family.
