I am Marcus Nied, a senior at Sandhoke Early College High School, who will be graduating in May with my high school diploma and my Associate in Science Degree from Sandhills Community College. I currently volunteer at Hillcrest Fire Department in Raeford and in National Honor Society for the betterment of my community. I will be going to the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in the fall to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry with a concentration in pre-health. I plan on attending Med-School at the East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine and attempt to get residency in emergency medicine to work as an emergency doctor. In order to prepare for working in the medicine field and get experience in emergency medicine, I will be taking an EMT-Basic course at Sandhills community college over the summer and work as an EMT in Robeson County while going through my Bachelor's Degree.
