I am a student attempting to achieve my goal as a student and obtain a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. I worked as an electrician apprentice in San Francisco California for over 5 years and I have gained a lot of valuable field experience for which I am grateful I love working in the Electrical field, especially as a commercial electrician high-rise. However, I know I have the dream to take some break and back to school and make a carrier as Electrical Engineer. I dream of being a key player involved in the day-to-day task that deals with the scheduling, estimating, and management of prestigious projects such as the ongoing San Jose airport, or working on a big company like P&E that is located in San Francisco. My hopes are to return to work in the Electrical industry until I am ready to retire, but I would like to retire as a professional with a degree under my belt as an Electrical Engineer. I will be the first in my family to achieve this. I have the field and hands-on experience to construct a big plant for electrical power, but I have always dreamed of being in charge of my own jobs and possibly running my own Electrical company. I have invested much effort in obtaining my goal of earning a B.S. in Electrical Engineer. However, it has not been easy due to my struggles with my finance and because I work at school and a part-time job is not enough to support myself here at San Luis Obispo the cost of living is very high, but with my degree in hand I believe I am off to a good start and your scholarship would be greatly appreciated as it would help me immensely to spend more time in school and work less. Sincerely. Marcelo Garcia
