Being an immigrant that comes from a low-income household I have learned to work for everything I have. I live in a small trailer park in a mobile home located in a very rural and republican community. I have not had anything handed to me and have had to prove that I mean well and want to help our community. I have proved that I am the best person I can be by volunteering every chance I get and showing my support for the Agriculture Industry. I have become so fond of this industry that I involved myself in FFA (Future Farmers of America) and became president of not only my hometown chapter as well as my district chapter. I have advocated for farmers when misinformation has been spread and have explained to people how the industry actually works. I plan on being an Agriculture Attorney to make a better life not only for myself but for my parents. My parents have worked their butts off to get us to where we are today and I hope to one day be successful enough to buy them a real home. A place where they can hang out in the backyard with their grandkids and have a garage. I never want my parents to worry about financial problems. They have paid for everything I have and I want to be able to give back. If I can do this in a career for which I am passionate then I will be living my dream life. I believe that being put in the situation I am in was for the best. It taught me hard lessons that many may not experience in their entire lives. My parents and I live paycheck to paycheck and think hard about how we will pay rent and utility bills as well as groceries. Every person goes through different struggles, I believe it is what makes us who we are. We all become strong because of our experiences. If life was easy life would be boring. There is no growth on a path with no obstacles. There is no growth on a path that's straight and has no potholes. Bridges must be built to get over rivers and holes. We learn to build those bridges by messing up and trying to swim through rapids and waterfalls. We learn by watching the struggles of those who came before us.
