WinnerBio
One of the biggest contributors to personal growth and development is a curious mindset. With my constant desire to develop and learn, I embody this quality in my professional and personal life.
Additionally, having lived and worked in New York City, I have a strong appreciation for different cultures and perspectives, which enables me to bring an international mindset to my endeavors.
I plan to bring my learnings to yet another inspiring and intellectual environment and look forward to collaborating with my peers!
My interest in pursuing a healthcare career grew when I volunteered at the Queens Select Medical Clinic, where I often translated for patients and saw the relief they felt when I spoke in Bengali. Moments such as these drive my motivation to work within the healthcare field, where research and future innovations are in constant need. With a foundation of knowledge within biosciences, I hope to research telemedicine solutions within my career and create solutions that address the diversity of all communities.
I want to ensure that patients can receive accessible care where language barriers do not prevent patients from receiving the care they need. I am determined to contribute to a future where accessible healthcare is not only a possibility but a promise.
