Books are very important to me and they have had a significant impact on my personality and my goals. I am a very heavy reader and I love reading whenever I have free time. Books are a good way for me to relax and escape from reality into a world that allows me to express my true self. I come from a family where people do not often express their emotions and a lot of my friends are also reserved with emotions. I had trouble connecting with people when they did not open up and I would turn to books for comfort. I love authors like Cornelia Funke, Chirs Colfer, and Trenton Lee Seward because they always write characters with such emotion. Books taught me how to express my emotions and they taught me how others express their emotions. The books I read have a wide variety of characters. There is always someone in a book who parallels someone in my life. Learning how fictional characters behave and express their emotions taught me how people in my life would express their emotions. When I would read, I would learn how to approach people who are less expressive and I learned how to create a meaningful connection where both parties feel satisfied. Books taught me many skills that have made a difference in my life and these skills have helped me be a better person with my friends and family. I have learned how to respond to emotions and how to make others feel comfortable with their emotions. Books have also shaped my goals because I learned more about the world and about some of the internal struggles people go through. Narrators are very unique in books because they allow the reader to have information that they would struggle to receive otherwise. It is impossible to have a narrator explaining someone’s emotions in real life, however, empathy, kindness, and active listening make a very good replacement. I cannot read anyone’s mind, but if I focus on their troubles and their story, then I can make a close guess. Understanding that others experience emotions that are complex and difficult to express helped me understand what my goal in life is. I want to help people understand themselves and others. I understand that people go through a lot of pain every day and I want to help lessen the pain people feel. Books have shown me all the thoughts and emotions that people hide because they do not have a narrator and I want to make it easier for people to live with these thoughts and feelings. I believe that working as a Pharmacy Technician will help me complete my goal because medicine is an important tool that can help make it easier for people to live. I want to make it easier for people to live with themselves and I believe that I will make a difference in someone’s life by becoming a Pharmacy Technician. People cannot rely on a narrator to express themselves and their needs, so I want to make medicine available to everyone, especially if they are going through something that I do not know about. The people who do not ask for help are the ones who need it the most and I want to create an environment where there is no shame in asking for and receiving help.

Pharmacy Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining a pharmacy and keeping everything running smoothly. Pharmacy technicians need to pay very good attention to detail because they do a lot of work with dispensing, labeling, and managing medications. Pharmacy Technicians are important and I would like to pursue a career as one so I can create a bigger difference in my community. I want to provide medicine for others and make it easier for people to live by lessening the pain they have to live with. I believe that everyone deserves medicine and people should not have to jump through hoops to be able to take care of themselves or their loved ones. I also would like to pursue a trade because I can start working sooner than if I went to college. My family has been having a hard time with money and I would be grateful if I could start working as soon as possible so I could start providing for and helping my family. I get migraines really easily, and I know how hard it can be to live in pain, so I would be honored if I could lessen the amount of people who experience treatable pain. It is always a challenge to focus in school or do my homework when I am in pain. It would make me happy if others did not have to go through the experience of forcing themselves to work through pain. In addition, I got a cyst removal surgery done on my dominant hand when I was in my junior year of high school and it was really difficult to get it done. I had to go to many different doctors, and I spoke to many people before I was able to get treatment. I do not want others to go through the same experience. I desire a world where healthcare is accessible to everyone because being healthy should be a right for everyone. I do not want others to be in pain or suffer because it is not fair for them to be in pain and be expected to live normally. My family is also really important to me and I want to take care of my parents as well as they took care of me. I would be grateful if I could make it easier for my parents to get through the month and make payments. I also have two sisters who are going to college in the same year because they are twins and I want to help my parents save up for them. I do not want my parents to spend too much money on me because I want them to be able to support my sisters. I believe education is really important and I want my sisters to be able to stay in school for as long as they want to without worrying about money.

My family and culture are really important to me and everything I do is for them. They mean a lot to me and I always do everything I can to make them proud. Living in a city without a lot of representation always made me feel ashamed and embarrassed about my background but now that I learned how important it is, I could not feel more proud of my background and culture. My family is originally from India, and my parents are from Fiji, so we are considered Indo-Fijians. It was always really hard to explain this to people so I would always avoid mentioning my culture. I am motivated to pursue an education because I want to have more opportunities to make a difference. I want to earn my certification to become a Pharmacy Technician so I can help make more access to medicine. I want to help people heal and I would be honored to be a part of someone’s journey. My goal is to make a difference in at least one person’s life and I believe that pursuing an education will allow me to achieve my goal. I also want to make things easier for my parents. I would be grateful if I could take some financial burden off of them. I have two sisters who are going to college in two years so I want my parents to be ready to support them instead of worrying about me. Something I hope to achieve with this education is to make a difference in someone’s life. It makes me sad to know that there is so much misery and pain and I would love to make it a little less. I believe that I can make someone more happy, whether it’s a coworker, a customer, or my family.

My college education is crucial to me and will be a significant part of my success. I plan to attend San Joaquin Valley College to get my certification as a Pharmacy Technician. I want to pursue a career as a Pharmacy Technician because I believe access to medicine is essential to everyone, and I want to make medicine more accessible to those who need it. I am familiar with how difficult it can be to live comfortably while in pain, and I would be extremely grateful if I could help take treatable pain away from others. I love to be there for people in my community, and I would be honored to be a part of their journey to recovery and better health. When I first moved to my neighborhood, I noticed a surplus of stray cats and dogs, many of which had injuries. It breaks my heart when animals have to live on the street, especially when injured, so I did my part in helping. Whenever I see an animal with an injury, I get help and ensure they have a place to stay in an animal shelter. I adopted one of the cats I helped and seeing her progress showed me that helping others is my purpose in life. When I first met her, she was very scared and had trouble interacting with humans but she became more trusting after a few months. Gaining her trust and helping her feel safe was extremely satisfying to me and I would love to give members of my community the same help and kindness. I felt an immeasurable amount of satisfaction and joy from helping animals and I would like to apply that effort to members in my community. I would appreciate using my education to have greater opportunities to help members of my community. Helping others would give me the greatest amount of fulfillment in my life, and I greatly desire to make a difference in someone’s life, similar to how I made a difference in the lives of the stray animals in my community.
