I am a second year college student pursuing a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology. With my degree, I plan to obtain a master's in clinical research before attending medical school. I plan to specialize in psychiatry and become involved in substance abuse and addiction treatment. I am very passionate about my work with mental health advocacy and suicide awareness. I have personal experience with substance abuse within my family, and also with suicide loss. I am striving to make a change that is very much needed in this world surrounding the topic of mental illness, specifically in addiction treatment and support.
